Hi Dana
You can choose Variable View instead of Data View by clicking a tab at the bottom. Then, you can choose 'name' to be changed, which can be changed by typing a specfic name.
Hope this would be help.

Sincerely
Frank

Hello,

I am likely missing this info from the PSPP documentation, but I can't
seem to find how to change the variables listed in the various PSPPIRE
dialog boxes to show variable names, as opposed to variable labels. In
SPSS this is done by Edit > Options > Display/show variable names. Is
there a way to do this with PSPP, perhaps via syntax? Many of my Stats
students have started using PSPP this semester to avoid rental costs of
SPSS and I didn't notice that the GUI defaulted to variable labels and
not names (I always run syntax in PSPP). They're having a hard time
finding the variables they need, especially in large datasets.

Thanks for any help,
Dana
