I was able to get this to work when I exported it as a .csv file from the output window. Thanks to everyone for their help!

Stacy had the execute after the statement and I did it from the syntax editor and executed.
Besides, in the output window I see the command and the empty file is created.

You do need to follow this command with EXECUTE before anything will be written.
