I just tested with the Eurobarometer trend file 1970-2002 with about
1,123,000 cases.
The syntax below works fine.

Is the patched binary the pspp-084-20141204-64bits-Setup.exe file , in
the case of 64 bits files ?

This one is marked as a RC1.

Right.

Every build is first a ReleaseCandidates. If I think the time is right it is renamed to a normal build,
If a RC contains a patch you need or you like to use the very latest features, don't bother about that RC status.
