Igor, do you only use PSPP (console) or using the graphical user interface (psppire)?

I tested on fedora 19 using PSPP 0.8.0 (g3eb4b3)and no problems to run the syntax file (just had to change the location of the input file and the output file)

I'm installing ubuntu on a virtual machine for testing. However, the last time I tried PSPPire in Ubuntu, I realized that is distributed with a modified package of PSPP.

Please try compiling PSPP, downloading it from the website https://www.gnu.org/software/pspp/get.html and see if the problem persists.

You can also compile a daily snapshot of PSPP.

To install just one:
./configure
make
make install

For more information, see the "INSTALL" file.

Asunto: Ubuntu PSPP and GET DATA problem

Hello.

I have another issue with PSPP on Ubuntu 12.04 with PSPP version 7.9.
Please, check SAV.zip. You will find there map file. This map file works
fine with PSPP 7.9 and 8.0 on Windows.

But on Ubuntu I have error:
180913_231238_61_map.sps:3.1: error: GET DATA: Syntax error at end of
command:
expecting `/'.

180913_231238_61_map.sps:3: error: Stopping syntax file processing here to
avoid a cascade of dependent command failures.

Please, help me solving this problem. What I am doing wrong? Where is the
mistake?

Thank you!
