It looks like your question has not attracted an answer yet, at
least not on-list.  So I'll try to take a few guesses, not at
mailing lists but at Usenet groups.  In particular it seems that
sci.math, sci.stat.consult, and sci.stat.math would be good
groups to consult.  All of those seem to be active newsgroups,
especially sci.math.  I'm not a regular in any of them so I can't
say what would be on-topic in each of them.
