Gettext version

Hi, I'm trying to compile pspp from cvs. In the README.CVS file I found
that 0.14.5 version of Getext (or later) is needed, but in the
"configure.ac" file 0.16 version is required.

What should I do? Should I upgrade Gettext to a newer version or is this
unnecessary, and it suffices editing the "configure.ac" file, requiring
for 0.14.5 version of gettext?
