OK. My guess is the problem is somewhere in the dump_statistics function, but
I cannot
see anything obviously wrong.
Do you feel up to applying some diagnostics ?

This is the smallest set which provoked the issue.
data list list /address.
begin data.

end data
FREQUENCIES
/VARIABLES=address
/HISTOGRAM=NORMAL
/PERCENTILES= 25 50 75.
