I wasn't active in this area right now, since I'm sure there should be a lot of 
bugs solved before announcing a "real" stable release. RFC!
Especially because the new bug-entry at savannah point out an already added bug 
in BUGLIST, right?
So, to avoid such well known bug entrys, I would suggest you to solve the bugs 
(BUGLIST)  first! RFC!!!
