[Protux-devel] protux-0.15.8 compiles but segfaults

on both the libmustux
and the protux src
I was able to succesfully compile both libmustux and
the protux 
after doing 

$make -f admin/MakeFile.common
$./configure
$make
$ su -c "make install"

for both

but now when I try to run "protux" I get 
 Loading required GL library
/usr/X11R6/lib/libGL.so.1.2
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

any suggestions?
