[Phpgroupware-users] newsgroup table corrupted -- update

My problem was that the "Network News" page only showed15 newsgroups
(ab.arnet through acc.hp.latimes.sports) which seemed to indicate that
the newsgroup table is corrupted.

The odd thing is, if I select * from newsgroups, I get a lot of
records.  It looks fairly complete.

But, as suggested, I emptied the table, logged in as admin, and went
back to "Network News".  After a long pause, it came back with the
same 15 groups.  No difference.

So I dropped the table "newsgroups" and recreated it, and went back to
"Network News", and after another long pause, it came back with the
same 15 groups.  If I page forward or hit the "got to bottom", or
search for a newsgroup I know exists, the page rewrites with the same
15 newsgroups, just as before.

Is there a table other than newsgroups that I ought to be looking at?

Thanks for any assistance.  This is getting very frustrating.  INN
isn't this difficult...
