There is a registration app.  Sorry I have not played with it, but from
what i hear it works well.

Easy ... Just make sure the entries are not ticked as private and make
sure each user's acl settings have at least read set for the group you
want to share within.

In admin go to user groups edit the default group.  Next to calendar,
address book and some other apps there is blue box next to the the
active tick box ... click on this and assign what rights you want to the
same group.
