I was ignorant to the existence of --tollef at all.

The manpage states, "Do not use --tollef unless you know what you are doing."  
Why would Ubuntu, Debian, and Fedora all package their parallel's with this 
set?  Arch Linux does not.  Anyway, glad to be up and running.
