Hi, all.
I'm trying to compile ParaGui for OSX and would need some help. You
don't need to know osx (i do) but info on the paragui build system
would be invaluable.
First of all, doing ./configure on 1.0.4 gives this:
...
checking whether the C++ compiler (c++ ) works... yes
checking whether the C++ compiler (c++ ) is a cross-compiler... no
checking whether we are using GNU C++... yes
checking whether c++ accepts -g... yes
checking how to run the C preprocessor... cc -E -traditional-cpp
checking for a BSD compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c
checking for executable suffix... (cached) no
checking for the STL library to use... -lstdc++
checking for sdl-config... /usr/local/bin/sdl-config
checking for SDL - version >= 1.2.0... no
*** Could not run SDL test program, checking why...
*** The test program failed to compile or link. See the file
config.log for the
*** exact error that occured. This usually means SDL was incorrectly
installed
*** or that you have moved SDL since it was installed. In the latter
case, you
*** may want to edit the sdl-config script: /usr/local/bin/sdl-config
configure: error: *** SDL version 1.2.0 not found!
[iMac:~/Home/Sources/paragui-1.0.4] asko% sdl-config --version
1.2.5
But as you can see, the tool should be there.. And sdl version should
be sufficient.
Any hints?
