of) in the NNTP protocol for a reader to say "I've got these headers,
what have you got?"


If there's a "get specified header" then the client could perform such a task iteratively by looking at what it has.

Yeah, but then there would be a million tasks because the client has to check for _every_ part of every message with
a NNTP request.
