How do I do that, for a single group?

You can't force an automated expire for a single group, as that's set per server (which doesn't make a lot of sense when the group may show up on multiple servers, and when a particular post expires might then depend on which server pan happened to see it on first, but that's beside the point).

However, you can simply delete posts, thus doing effectively the same thing. To do this based on time, as with expiration, unthread, sort by date, select all the oldest posts up to the date you want to keep, then delete.

But I having trouble with deletes. The "flush to disk" on Change Group fails with a "resource unavailable" error.
