That's why I go to the trouble of such long posts, sometimes.  It's not 
just for one person.  The dynamics of newsgroups/mailinglists are really 
neat, that way. =8^)  Of course, another cool dynamic is that if I get 
something wrong, as certainly happens more than I'd like, someone's 
likely to popup and correct me, again benefiting more than one person.  
I've also found that lists/groups scale much better than an individual 
and private mail.  No big worries if I can't get to it right away.  
Someone else will, tho my touch is rather unique (few have the time or 
patience to off and write such things). =8^)

I was wondering what the reference was.  Dune's one I haven't read/seen.  
I've actually read more Asimov than anything, including a lot of his non-
fiction.  I really enjoyed his style.
