Hmm... had to go back and look (I still have the old binary installed, I
copied it off before I upgraded, as new-pan was still very rough at the
time), and sure enough. I had forgotten that. In that case, then, it won't
quite be a new feature, just a restoration of an old-pan feature, which is
a bit different. =8^)
