Two other things came up:

1.  Saving the subscription list as soon as a change is made - after
posting this, I crashed pan (segfault, I'm trying to duplicate) and lost
all of my subscriptions info.

2.  The returh of the 'a' key to download new headers in the currently
selected group.

I'm sure there's something else I meant to include, but I can't think of
it offhand. :-)
