[Pan-users] Find entry field optionally persistent

In older versions of Pan(0.11.2), the Find field was cleared
upon selecting a new group.  In Pan(0.14.2), the Find field
remains unchanged as different groups are selected.

Both behaviours seem to have advantages, so I'm wondering
if the persistence is, or could be made to be, settable.
Or maybe selectable when Find is invoked.

If there is a way to set this behaviour, and it's already
implemented, that would be great.
