The short answer is that you don't have to do anything.

Here's the long answer:

First off, if Pan recognizes the (presumably) multi-post file as Complete,
then you will notice a green icon resembling 2 puzzle pieces (by default)
to the left of the subject in the Header pane.

Assuming you see that already, then just select the post (or, if you don't
have the option "Show complete multipart posts as a single article" turned
on for some reason, you will need to turn that on first), right click, and
choose "Save". When it is done downloading, you will see a disk icon
replace the puzzle piece icon in the header pane.

The file is automatically decoded, and should be ready to use.
