Pan keep crashing when I attempt anything that requires an editor. I don't
recall an external editor being *required* in PAN, but maybe it was and I
just didn't recognize it. In any event it appears that something is causing
this to crash on my system.
If there is no requirement for an external editor in PAN, how do I disable
that? I have looked in the config.xml and don't see anything there. I have
joe and gedit on my system and have tried every combination of the two I can
think of to fix this.
Can someone *please* help me get PAN working again? I really do NOT think it's
anything in PAN as such, as it is something with my system. I reinstalled my
RedHat 9 system last week and things have been "funky" ever since...
        Thanks
