[Pan-users] Downloads Fail

I have a Windows box setup as server and Internet gateway running 
Windows 2000 Pro. My client is a Mandrake 9.1 box. My Internet 
connection is via Direcway one-way (dial return) satellite. Everything 
is running really fast and reliable except Pan.

When I download large binaries progress always stops around 95%. I have 
a paid news server called Uncensored News which has about 10 or 15 
different servers and I get the same behavior from all of them.

Does anyone know a fix for this?
