Mark,

If you installed from source (ie configure && make && make install) as
opposed to rpm, do a "make uninstall" from the top of the source tree for
each package.

You can then reinstall the 2.0 packages for your distro using whatever
package management tool you have (yast2, urpmi, apt, etc).>
