[Pan-users] Feature request - watch/ignore/mark subthread

I suggest adding the following features to some future version of Pan:

- "Watch Subthread/Branch":  Works like "Watch Thread", but only on the 
selected article and its replies (recursively).  If the entire thread is 
already watched, the subthread/branch is "unwatched".

- "Ignore Subtread/Branch":  Same concept as above.

- "Mark Subthread/Branch (as) Read/Unread":  Marks the selected postings and 
its replies recursively as read/unread.  Unlike watch/ignore, this doesn't 
affect future replies in the branch.

The purpose of my request is to enable more powerful filtering of threads where 
one branch is especially interesting or boring.
If e.g. some people start a pointless flame war within an otherwise interesting 
thread, these features combined with filtering can prevent the thread from 
being shown if it has no new or unread articles outside the flame war.
