If a Pan (soon to be renamed:-) reports lots of socket errors (100's)

body failed: Error writing to socket.

Like so (edited by me in obvious ways).

I'm currently running pan-0-11-fix CVS, I have tried the stable release as 
well to the same effect.  The system is RH7.2 with 2.4.18 kernel.

Basically I would like to know if this is a pan error or something else.  My 
other network connections (i.e. http, ftp etc) all work flawlessly (if they 
don't I haven't seem the effect).
