I got through the problem with gmime-gpg-context.c by removing 'gmime-gpg-context.lo' from gmime/Makefile.in. I don't know if that makes sense, but it seemed to work. However, that's not the end of the story. Now I get this:[snipped]
This is fun, it's like a puzzle game. I got past the regex problem, but now I'm stuck on this:
In file included from test-parser.c:35: ../zentimer.h: In function `ztime': ../zentimer.h:92: error: storage size of 'tz' isn't known
zentimer is only used for profiling gmime. you can safely blow away any parts of it that don't compile for you.
Great. Now this must be a consequence of removing gmime-gpg-context earlier on.
Don't worry about the tests or docs directory either. You can removethem from SUBDIRS in the parent directory's Makefile.in. just keep moving forward and don't worry about the bits that Pan doesn't need.
Slash and burn, mate. arrr. cheers, Charles
