Your written English? :))))
Just kidding.. anyway, don't hesitate to send ugly code, if it works
correctly. I'll prabably reformat (or even recode) it anyway, as you
may already noticed (diff palito-dev.2003-09-22.nettrash.tgz vs
palito-dev.2003-09-25.tgz for ex)
By the way, I wrote a handy script to call diff over archives.
I called it dif.sh, and shortcuted to just 'dif' on my system.
You can call it like that:
$ dif /home/backup/palito-dev.2003-09-25.tgz .
$ dif palito-dev.2003-09-22.nettrash.tgz palito-dev.2003-09-25.tgz
$ dif ../palito-dev palito-dev.2003-09-25.tgz
That is, objects being compared can be directories or archives.
I'll send it attached if anyone find it worth.
Regards,
barrett.
dif.sh
Description: Bourne shell script
