Hi Drew,

I'm kind of slow off the mark here, but I use OpenEXR in my HDRI  
generation plugin for our app Terragen :

At present it's Mac only, but now I'm moving my Windows development  
from CodeWarrior to VS 2003 and I will look into building a Windows  
version in the near future. It's actually requested fairly often.

We're working on a "next generation" version of Terragen at the  
moment, and we plan on supporting OpenEXR directly and having it as  
the preferred HDRI format.
