XYZ is often as easily processed as RGB in most color management
systems.
One advantage of XYZ is that no one would mistake it for display
or print RGB. Thus it's obvious that the data needs to be converted
before use.
This is not so obvious with RIMM, as it is an RGB space.
Other than that, RIMM is a good choice as well.
