[Om-synth] no gui

so i successfully compiled om on a fedora core 3 machine with
planetccrma stuff too.  i start up om and get the server start message,
but then trying to start the gui get:

also, dssi synths in rosegarden also stopped popping up their gui's.
i'm sure its a gtk thing.  any hints?
