I tried both but with both I get strange output with help; e.g., "help
flat2ecc":
>> help flat2ecc
'flat2ecc' is a function from the file D:\<...some subdir....>\flat2ecc.m

Additional help for built-in functions and operators is
available in the online version of the manual. Use the command
'doc <topic>' to search the manual index.
so apparently something is wrong with the header. Similarly for ecc2flat.m
Could you please fix that?
Would you also please consistently put spaces between any operator and
operand?
Once there, would you like to be credited? If yes (I hope so!) would you mind
supplying your name and -optionally- email address?
I hope to add these functions in a new mapping package release (1.2.2)
scheduled for the second half of August.
