Follow-up Comment #3, patch #7762 (project octave):

I don't think the demo is that helpful specially because it won't work in all
systems. At least on mine (Debian Squeeze), I can't use set() to place a
figure outside the screensize so that demo only places the figure on the limit
and findfigs() does nothing.

I placed it on miscellaneous because the function is for all type of figures,
not only plots.
