Configuring additional package repositories

Hello everyone.

My apologies if this is not the right list to ask.

TLDR: are there any package mirroring/proxying solutions for the Octave forge registry?

I'm currently dealing with a lot of internal octave code dependencies at my current organization, and need some sort of way to keep them under control.

I know that Octave forge maintains a public package registry backed by sourceforge.net. To me, this looks like a smaller version of the Maven central repository (which hosts java extension packages).

I'd like to also maintain a local/private repository of versioned Octave packages that contain m code developed internally in my organization.

So the question is, does Octave offer any configurations hooks to point to additional package repository sources in addition to Octave forge?

The idea is pretty similar to what the Jfrog folks have done with artifactory:

Thanks for your time and help!
