functions missing tests: scripts/general/display.m

 i have added tests for a few simple types: scalar, 1d & 2d matrix and 
string.

can anyone suggest other tests for this function that would serve a 
useful purpose wrt display?

I see that the display function also works for user defined objects.   
Would it be worthwhile to have tests for these as well? If so, a couple 
of code snippets would be greatly appreciated (maybe using example 
classes?).
