Of course those issues need to be investigated a bit more before anyone can get
an idea about how to solve them.
Actually I'm not even surprised at all about finding so many problems, I just
switched to a whole new system with
different system libraries and compilers, it was definitely to be expected that
some adjustments would be needed.
My point here was that it will take a non-negligible amount of time to get a
really stable build on OS X 10.9,
so waiting for this before the release would most likely push the date too far.
