Hi,

my answer is similar. I'm still very interested in GNU Octave and use
it nearly every day for my own research, but I'm now quite busy in a
PhD position and haven't had time for any free software development
for a long time at all.

However, one suggestion from my experience: When I had the profiler
somewhat working for my project, that was basically what I had had in
mind and what I had wanted to implement also for my own use (and yes,
I also used it some times since then "in production" :D). Maybe it
would have been better to keep me "motivated" if the project had been
broader in some sense, so that I could have kept working on and on and
on.... But that would not have helped with little time, of course.

But: I think Octave is surely the first project I would (or will)
start working on again in the future, when I have more time. So from
my point of view, I'm still interested and enjoyed the GSoC time with you.

Yours,
Daniel
