Michael,

Alas, once the commit is made I don't know of a simple way to change the
commit message.  Jordi is the expert on all things Mercurial and he might
know of a way.  Otherwise, it is a bit of false advertising in the commit
message, but I would just leave it alone.

After you push the file #27434 in bug # 38291 you can close that bug report and also
close bug # 38359 which I created to document the signbit() fix.  This will at least provide
a record of this change and explain the sequence of events.
