Now I remember that in a program called SuperCollider is used a
'cmake' that is a cross-platform make.

"CMake can generate makefiles for many platforms and IDEs including
Unix, Windows, Mac OS X, OS/2, MSVC, Cygwin, MinGW and Xcode."
