Mercurial clone not ending cleanly

After finding the right combination of /etc/hosts and .hgrc http_proxy 
settings I managed to get Mercurial working on the Octave source. 
However, the clone seems to have not ended cleanly.  After getting what 
seems like almost every file, it ends as below.
