You're using the Yahoo mail client. Somewhere it should have an option
to send plain text email (or "no formatting" or something like that).
When you do send formatting (fonts, colours, sizes) in email, you're
sending HTML.

We don't like HTML because it displays fonts and colours and other
things that may not look good on our computers and make it harder for
us to display your message like we would like. Instead it displays
like what the Yahoo mail client would like.

No HTML in email is an old email rule of etiquette. As a rule of
etiquette, it seems to be fading away, but some of us still like it.
