Hello octave maintainers, Benjamin, Marco, and John

I have posted previously the below.

To Benjamin, how about your case? Do linking (DLD_FUNCTION)s give .dll files or
.oct files?
To Marco, how is the situation on the cygwin?
To John, in case of linux, do linking (DLD_FUNCTION)s give .so files but not
.oct files?

I would like to know whether this behavior is intentional or not?

Regards

Tatsuro
