On x86_64 linux, octave  3.2.3rc2, and 4.3 cvs gnuplot I see
flickering of the plot with wxt terminal.
With X11 terminal, the plot itself is steady, but the window
decoration bar has flickering sign
Figure 1 -> Figure 1 applying (or acquiring?) colors... --> Figure 1
