Ok, then already notably "plot" returns a "line" and not an hggroup, as 
I thought. It appears I misread the line seres object at

Notably the "type" property here is "line" and not an "hggroup"..  
However, the Xdatasource, etc properties are added to the line series.. 
There are other issues like that.. I'll work on fixing all this in the 
next few weeks.
