I think it is fine like that.  There are people involved with Octave core who 
really shouldn't be bothered with detailed graphics.  If it is discussion about 
graphics innards, then the graphics list.  If it is a new feature in graphics 
or about behavior everyone might have an opinion on then both graphics and 
maintainers list.  An occassional help query to the graphics list is fine.  
(Such queries will just go to some other list anyway, not stop.)
