Seriously, I have no problems with the spam filtering issue and mail from octave.org, I think your spam filters are perhaps a bit niave and you might be loosing other mails as well... If you don't want to change your filters, why not just white-list things with a CC or To of address@hidden or address@hidden, I haven't seen any spam on these lists, so I don't think that would cause you a problem...
