The function deblank does not support cell arrays of strings. Matlab's
deblank does. As soon as cellfun becomes part of Octave, the attached
patch will add cell support to deblank.
(Is this a good time to plug cellfun? It is VERY useful. Anything left
to be done before it can become part of 2.9.X?)
