Follow-up Comment #31, bug #65712 (group octave):

Not sure how to transplant this to stable, since it uses strict_int_value
which doesn't exist on stable.

Maybe doing only one change to Array-base.cc on stable, like "if (dim >
ndims())  return *this;" or something similar.
