Follow-up Comment #25, bug #56232 (project octave):
Tried the suggestion from comment #21 and UMFPACK still fails at the symbolic
factorization for
s = sparse (zeros (2));
inv (s)
and fails with
error: inv: division by zero
for
s = sparse (ones (2));
s = s - s;
inv (s)
I can check later this evening with gdb to see what is happening.
