Follow-up Comment #1, bug #55883 (project octave): I think this confirms an observation that was just made on bug #55735, that Octave doesn't actually need Qt5OpenGL with current versions of Qt 5. Does that module not exist in Qt 5.12 for macOS? Can you force QT_OPENGL_LIBS to empty and continue building? @Maintainers On the development branch, is now a good time to require QOpenGLWidget (introduced in Qt 5.4) and drop the deprecated QtOpenGL / Qt5OpenGL library?
