Update of bug #49338 (project octave): Status: Confirmed => Fixed Open/Closed: Open => Closed _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #5: On my Debian system, running in the en-US.UTF-8 locale, the original example now works for me with Octave 5. The output .tex file contains the correct UTF-8 characters, and pdflatex produces the correct pdf with no errors or warnings. I do not need to insert any '\usepackage' directives into the file. If there are still cases where this doesn't work, please comment and this can be reopened. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?49338> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
